Who this helps
Federal contractors preparing for an accounting system review, responding to a DCAA information request, or improving readiness before a contract opportunity. Support is tailored to the review involved, your current system, and the records your business maintains.
What we help solve
An approaching review can expose missing procedures, reports that do not reconcile, or uncertainty about how costs move through the system. Even when the underlying transactions are sound, an unclear audit trail can make explanations difficult. Regina helps your team organize the evidence and understand where follow-up is needed.
What support can include
- Discuss the type of review and the information requested so preparation has a defined focus.
- Review how transactions, project costs, labor, and indirect costs are recorded and supported.
- Help organize reconciliations, written procedures, and supporting schedules for easier retrieval.
- Identify process gaps and help prioritize practical improvements with your team.
- Support preparation of explanations and responses to accounting-related follow-up requests within the agreed scope.
Your engagement is tailored to your records, contracts, and priorities. Regina will confirm the scope, fees, responsibilities, and timing before work begins.
How we work together
Start by sharing the general purpose and timing of the review through the contact form. Regina will discuss the records and access needed using an appropriate channel. After the initial conversation, you can agree on a preparation plan, responsibilities, and any ongoing support during the review.
Common questions
Can you guarantee that we will pass a DCAA audit?
No. DCAA and the responsible government officials make their own findings and decisions. Preparation can improve organization and identify gaps, but it cannot guarantee approval or a particular outcome.
Is this service provided by DCAA?
No. Prime Contractor Accounting Solutions provides independent accounting support. It is not a government agency and does not issue DCAA certifications.
What should we have ready for the first conversation?
Have a general description of the review, any deadlines communicated to you, your accounting software, and the areas you are concerned about. Do not send confidential audit requests or contract files through the public contact form.
